Responsibility
- Lead the end-to-end planning, execution, and delivery of data centre construction and expansion projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technical specifications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project coordinators, engineers, architects, and vendors, to drive project milestones and resolve technical challenges.
- Develop and manage project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation using Agile and traditional project management methodologies (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2).
- Oversee the design, installation, and commissioning of critical data centre infrastructure, including power distribution, cooling systems, and network cabling.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., Uptime Institute, TIA-942) and local regulations for data centre operations and safety.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to minimize project delays, cost overruns, and operational disruptions.
- Provide regular progress reports to senior management and stakeholders, highlighting key achievements, challenges, and recommendations.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement by identifying process efficiencies and adopting best practices in data centre project management.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field; a Masterâs degree or PMP certification is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in data centre project management, construction, or infrastructure development, with a proven track record of delivering large-scale projects.
- Strong knowledge of data centre design standards (e.g., Uptime Institute Tier classifications, TIA-942) and critical infrastructure systems (e.g., HVAC, UPS, generators).
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Jira, Asana) and familiarity with BIM (Building Information Modeling) software.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate with vendors, contractors, and internal teams.
- Experience working in Indonesia or Southeast Asia is highly desirable, with an understanding of local regulations, permitting processes, and cultural nuances.
- Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia is a strong advantage.
- Ability to work in a hybrid/remote environment with occasional travel to project sites in Bali or other locations in Indonesia.
