Responsibility
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes to support business needs.
- Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver solutions.
- Optimize data storage, retrieval, and processing to ensure high performance and efficiency.
- Implement data governance and quality assurance practices to maintain data integrity and accuracy.
- Lead the integration of new data sources and technologies into the existing data ecosystem.
- Mentor junior team members and provide technical guidance on best practices in data engineering.
- Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies in data engineering and analytics.
- Develop and maintain documentation for data processes, architectures, and workflows.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in data engineering, analytics, or a similar role.
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, and data processing frameworks such as Apache Spark or Hadoop.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and data warehousing solutions (Snowflake, Redshift, or BigQuery).
- Strong understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and data pipeline orchestration tools (Airflow, Luigi, etc.).
- Familiarity with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, or similar) and BI platforms.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
