Responsibility
- Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets from multiple sources (e.g., sales, customer behavior, inventory) to identify trends and opportunities.
- Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Google Data Studio to visualize key metrics for stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, operations, finance) to define KPIs and measure performance against business objectives.
- Design and implement predictive models and statistical analyses to forecast demand, optimize pricing, and reduce operational costs.
- Automate data processes and workflows using Python, SQL, or R to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Present insights and recommendations to senior leadership through clear, data-backed presentations and reports.
- Monitor data quality and integrity, implementing best practices for data governance and validation.
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and analytical methodologies to drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field. Masterâs degree is a plus.
- Minimum 3+ years of experience as a Data Analyst, Business Analyst, or similar role, preferably in e-commerce, retail, or FMCG.
- Proficiency in SQL (advanced querying, optimization) and experience with databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, BigQuery).
- Strong skills in data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
- Experience with programming languages like Python (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn) or R for data analysis and automation.
- Familiarity with ETL processes, data warehousing (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift), and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills with a detail-oriented mindset.
- Strong communication and storytelling abilities to translate complex data into actionable business insights.
