Responsibility
- Develop and maintain advanced data models to analyze Oil & Gas production, exploration, and operational metrics.
- Design and automate dashboards and reports (Power BI, Tableau) for real-time performance tracking.
- Collaborate with engineers and geoscientists to interpret reservoir data, seismic surveys, and drilling logs.
- Identify trends, anomalies, and optimization opportunities in upstream, midstream, and downstream processes.
- Implement predictive analytics and machine learning models to forecast equipment failures, demand, and pricing.
- Ensure data integrity by validating, cleaning, and structuring datasets from SCADA, ERP, and IoT systems.
- Present insights to stakeholders through clear visualizations and executive summaries.
- Stay updated on industry regulations, market trends, and emerging technologies in Oil & Gas analytics.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs or Masterâs degree in Data Science, Statistics, Engineering, Geology, or related fields.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Data Analyst, with 2+ years in Oil & Gas (upstream/midstream preferred).
- Proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas, NumPy), or R for data manipulation and analysis.
- Experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker) and ETL pipelines.
- Familiarity with Oil & Gas software (Petrel, Eclipse, PI System) is a plus.
- Strong understanding of statistical methods, time-series analysis, and predictive modeling.
- Excellent communication skills to translate technical findings for non-technical audiences.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment with minimal supervision.
