Responsibility
- Oversee daily data center operations, ensuring 99.9% uptime and optimal performance.
- Manage and execute MAC (Moves, Adds, Changes) processes efficiently and accurately.
- Enforce and maintain cabling standards to ensure organized and scalable infrastructure.
- Lead IT deployments, including hardware and software installations, upgrades, and configurations.
- Monitor and troubleshoot data center issues promptly to minimize downtime.
- Implement and maintain security protocols to safeguard data center assets.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business continuity and disaster recovery plans.
- Document procedures, policies, and best practices for data center operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in data center operations or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of data center infrastructure, including servers, networking, and storage systems.
- Experience with MAC processes, cabling standards, and IT deployments.
- Familiarity with security protocols and best practices for data center management.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Certifications such as CCNA, CompTIA, or ITIL are a plus.
