Responsibility
- Conduct Vulnerability Assessments (VA) and Penetration Testing (PT) using industry-standard tools (e.g., Burp Suite, Metasploit, Nessus, OWASP ZAP).
- Identify, analyze, and report security vulnerabilities in applications, networks, and systems with actionable remediation strategies.
- Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and controls to mitigate risks and ensure compliance with global standards.
- Monitor security alerts, investigate incidents, and lead incident response efforts to contain and resolve threats.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate Secure SDLC practices and perform code reviews for security flaws.
- Stay ahead of emerging cyber threats by researching new attack vectors, zero-day exploits, and defensive technologies.
- Prepare detailed technical and executive-level reports on security findings, risks, and improvement recommendations.
- Mentor junior team members and conduct security awareness training for staff across departments.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, IT, or a related field (Masterâs preferred).
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with at least 3 years specializing in VAPT.
- Hands-on experience with security tools like Nmap, Wireshark, Kali Linux, and SIEM solutions (e.g., Splunk, QRadar).
- Professional certifications such as CEH, OSCP, CISSP, CISM, or CompTIA Security+ are highly advantageous.
- Strong understanding of network security, encryption protocols, IAM, and cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP).
- Proven ability to write scripts (Python, Bash, PowerShell) for automation of security tasks.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills in English.
- Experience working in regulated industries (finance, healthcare, e-commerce) is a plus.
