Responsibility

  • Lead customer quality investigations, root cause analysis (RCA), and corrective action (CAPA) processes to resolve quality issues efficiently.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for customer quality concerns, ensuring timely and effective communication.
  • Develop and implement quality control systems, standards, and procedures to enhance product reliability and compliance.
  • Conduct regular audits (internal and external) to verify adherence to ISO, IATF, and other industry-specific quality standards.
  • Collaborate with engineering, production, and supply chain teams to identify and mitigate quality risks in manufacturing processes.
  • Analyze quality data and trends to proactively address potential defects and improve overall product performance.
  • Train and mentor junior quality engineers and production staff on best practices in quality assurance.
  • Prepare and present quality reports, metrics, and improvement plans to senior management and clients.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related field); Master’s degree is a plus.
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in quality engineering, preferably in electronics manufacturing, automotive, or aerospace industries.
  • Strong knowledge of quality management systems (QMS) such as ISO 9001, IATF 16949, or AS9100.
  • Proven expertise in root cause analysis tools (e.g., 8D, 5 Why, Fishbone Diagram) and statistical process control (SPC).
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills with the ability to interact with global stakeholders.
  • Experience with customer-facing quality roles and managing escalations in a high-pressure environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, Minitab, or other data analysis tools; familiarity with ERP systems is a plus.
  • Certifications such as Six Sigma (Green Belt/Black Belt), CQE (Certified Quality Engineer) are highly desirable.
