Responsibility
- Develop and implement quality control processes to ensure product and process compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections of manufacturing processes to identify and address quality issues.
- Collaborate with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to resolve quality-related problems and implement corrective actions.
- Analyze quality data and trends to identify opportunities for process improvements and cost reductions.
- Lead and participate in continuous improvement projects, such as Lean and Six Sigma initiatives.
- Provide training and guidance to production staff on quality control procedures and best practices.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant quality management systems, such as ISO 9001 and IATF 16949.
- Prepare and present quality reports to management and stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality engineering or a similar role within the manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of quality management systems, such as ISO 9001 and IATF 16949.
- Experience with quality control tools and techniques, such as SPC, FMEA, and 8D problem-solving.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in using quality management software and tools.
- Certification in Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.
