As a Warehouse Assistant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the efficiency of our supply chain. You’ll work closely with the warehouse team to handle stock, process orders, and ensure timely deliveries to our stores. Responsibility
- Receive, inspect, and store incoming inventory accurately and efficiently.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment to Watsons stores or customers.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment at all times.
- Operate warehouse equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, forklifts) safely and in compliance with company policies.
- Conduct regular stock counts and report discrepancies to the warehouse supervisor.
- Assist in loading and unloading shipments, ensuring proper handling of goods.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily, weekly, and monthly warehouse targets.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations to prevent accidents and injuries.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or a related field (fresh graduates with relevant internships are welcome).
- Basic understanding of inventory management and warehouse processes.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 25 kg) and stand for extended periods.
- Familiarity with warehouse equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, forklifts) is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling inventory.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
- Basic computer skills (e.g., Microsoft Excel, warehouse management systems).
- Willingness to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays if required.
