Responsibility
- Manage and maintain corporate secretarial portfolios for a diverse range of clients, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in all filings.
- Oversee ACRA (Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority) submissions, including annual returns, changes in company particulars, and other statutory requirements.
- Conduct Know Your Customer (KYC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) checks to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Prepare and maintain statutory registers, minutes of meetings, and corporate resolutions in accordance with legal requirements.
- Liaise with legal advisors, auditors, and government authorities to facilitate smooth corporate operations.
- Provide advisory support to senior management and board members on corporate governance matters.
- Monitor changes in local and international corporate laws and implement necessary updates to internal processes.
- Assist in the incorporation and dissolution of companies, including drafting necessary documentation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, or a related field; professional qualifications (e.g., ICSA, CSQS) are a plus.
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in corporate secretarial services, preferably in a multinational or regional setting.
- In-depth knowledge of ACRA regulations, Companies Act, and corporate governance frameworks.
- Proven experience in KYC/AML compliance, statutory filings, and board meeting coordination.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and corporate secretarial software (e.g., BoardPad, Diligent).
- Fluency in English; additional languages (e.g., Mandarin, Indonesian) are advantageous.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, international environment with a high degree of professionalism.
