Responsibility
- Prepare, review, and finalize legal documents related to property transactions, including contracts, deeds, and mortgages.
- Conduct title searches and due diligence to ensure property ownership and compliance with local regulations.
- Assist in litigation cases by gathering evidence, drafting pleadings, and coordinating with courts and clients.
- Liaise with clients, real estate agents, and financial institutions to facilitate smooth conveyancing processes.
- Maintain accurate records of all legal transactions and correspondence in compliance with firm policies.
- Provide legal advice and guidance to clients on property law, disputes, and risk mitigation.
- Monitor deadlines for filings, settlements, and court appearances to ensure timely execution.
- Collaborate with senior lawyers to develop case strategies and resolve complex legal issues.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) or equivalent; admission to the Indonesian Bar (Advokat) is a plus.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in conveyancing, property law, or litigation support (fresh graduates with strong academic records may be considered).
- Proficient in legal research, drafting, and interpretation of property-related statutes and regulations.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines efficiently.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
- Familiarity with Indonesian property laws, land registration systems, and court procedures.
- High ethical standards, discretion, and a commitment to client confidentiality.
- Tech-savvy with experience in legal software or document management systems is advantageous.
