Responsibility
- Provide strategic legal advice and support to senior management on corporate governance, compliance, and risk management.
- Draft, review, and negotiate complex commercial contracts, agreements, and legal documents to protect the company’s interests.
- Oversee and mentor junior legal counsel, fostering their professional development and ensuring high-quality legal outputs.
- Lead corporate legal projects, including mergers, acquisitions, and regulatory filings, from inception to completion.
- Ensure compliance with Indonesian laws and regulations, as well as international standards where applicable.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including finance, HR, and operations, to align legal strategies with business objectives.
- Represent the company in legal proceedings, negotiations, and external engagements with regulatory bodies and partners.
- Stay updated on legal trends, industry developments, and best practices to proactively mitigate risks.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (S.H.) from a reputable university; Master’s degree or additional certifications (e.g., Corporate Law, Compliance) is a plus.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in corporate law, preferably in a manufacturing, distribution, or multinational company.
- Strong expertise in Indonesian corporate law, commercial contracts, and regulatory compliance.
- Proven experience in mentoring or supervising junior legal professionals.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills with a strategic mindset.
- Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia; additional languages are an advantage.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
