Responsibility
- Develop, implement, and monitor corporate policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local and international regulations.
- Administer and manage contracts, including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating terms to mitigate risks and protect the company’s interests.
- Oversee document control systems to maintain accurate, up-to-date, and secure legal records and corporate documentation.
- Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and streamline legal and corporate planning workflows.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, HR, and operations, to align legal strategies with business goals.
- Conduct legal research and provide advisory support on corporate governance, compliance, and risk management issues.
- Prepare and present reports, analyses, and recommendations to senior management on legal and corporate planning matters.
- Stay abreast of changes in laws, regulations, and industry best practices to ensure the company remains compliant and competitive.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, or a related field; a Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., LLB, LLM) is a plus.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in corporate legal, compliance, or corporate planning roles, preferably in a multinational or fast-paced environment.
- Strong knowledge of corporate law, contract law, and regulatory compliance in Singapore and/or Indonesia.
- Proven experience in policy development, contract administration, and document management.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.
- Proficiency in legal research tools, Microsoft Office Suite, and document management systems.
- High level of integrity, attention to detail, and organizational skills to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Indonesian or other languages is an advantage.
