As our Legal Messenger and Liaison Officer, you will facilitate critical document exchanges, coordinate with government agencies, and maintain meticulous records to support our legal and operational teams. Responsibility
- Act as the primary point of contact for legal document submissions, retrievals, and follow-ups with government agencies, courts, and external partners.
- Coordinate and facilitate communication between the legal department, HR, finance, and other internal teams to ensure alignment on compliance and regulatory matters.
- Manage the secure and timely delivery of legal correspondence, contracts, and sensitive documents, both physically and digitally.
- Maintain accurate logs and tracking systems for all legal filings, deadlines, and communications to ensure accountability and transparency.
- Assist in the preparation and review of legal documents, ensuring they meet company standards and regulatory requirements.
- Liaise with external legal counsel, notaries, and other stakeholders to support litigation, licensing, or corporate governance processes.
- Monitor changes in local and international regulations that may impact the company’s operations and proactively communicate updates to relevant teams.
- Provide administrative support to the legal team, including scheduling meetings, organizing files, and preparing reports.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Legal Studies, Business Administration, or a related field. Paralegal certification is a plus.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a liaison, messenger, or administrative role within a legal department or law firm.
- Strong understanding of Indonesian legal procedures, document filing requirements, and government agency protocols.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia is highly advantageous.
- Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion and integrity.
- Highly organized with exceptional time-management and multitasking skills to meet tight deadlines.
- Tech-savvy with proficiency in Microsoft Office, document management systems, and basic legal research tools.
- Willingness to travel within Bali or to Jakarta as needed for document submissions or meetings.
