Responsibility
- Manage the registration and renewal of trademarks and intellectual property (IP) rights with the Directorate General of Intellectual Property (DJKI).
- Oversee corporate licensing and permits via the Online Single Submission (OSS) system to ensure compliance with Indonesian business regulations.
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts, including partnership agreements, vendor contracts, and service agreements.
- Provide legal advice on corporate governance, compliance, and risk management to senior leadership and internal stakeholders.
- Monitor changes in local and international laws affecting the company’s operations and recommend necessary adjustments.
- Liaise with external legal counsel, government agencies, and regulatory bodies as required.
- Develop and implement internal policies and procedures to ensure legal compliance across all business functions.
- Conduct legal due diligence for potential business partnerships, mergers, or acquisitions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (S.H.) from a reputable university; a Master’s degree (M.H.) or equivalent is a plus.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in corporate law, intellectual property, or compliance, preferably in a tech or multinational company.
- Strong knowledge of Indonesian corporate law, DJKI regulations, and the OSS licensing system.
- Proven experience in drafting and negotiating commercial contracts.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia; additional languages are an advantage.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Member of the Indonesian Advocates Association (PERADI) is preferred.
