Responsibility
- Lead and supervise the hot kitchen team to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
- Prepare and cook high-quality dishes according to established recipes and presentation standards.
- Monitor food inventory and place orders to maintain adequate stock levels.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations at all times.
- Collaborate with the Head Chef to develop new menu items and specials.
- Train and mentor junior kitchen staff to uphold culinary excellence.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to promote a safe working environment.
- Assist in managing kitchen budgets and controlling food costs.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a professional kitchen, with at least 1 year in a senior role.
- Proven expertise in hot kitchen operations, including grilling, frying, and sautéing.
- Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
- Ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure environment.
- Excellent leadership and teamwork skills.
- Creativity and passion for culinary arts.
- Fluency in English or Indonesian is preferred.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
