Responsibility

  • Prepare, review, and process legal documents related to property transactions, including contracts, deeds, and title transfers.
  • Liaise with clients, real estate agents, and financial institutions to facilitate smooth conveyancing processes.
  • Conduct title searches and verify property ownership details to ensure accuracy and compliance with legal requirements.
  • Manage and organize case files, ensuring all documentation is up-to-date and securely stored.
  • Assist in drafting correspondence, reports, and legal agreements under the supervision of solicitors.
  • Coordinate with government agencies, such as the Land Office, to submit and follow up on necessary applications and registrations.
  • Maintain accurate records of transactions, deadlines, and client communications using firm databases.
  • Provide administrative support to the legal team, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and handling client inquiries.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Conveyancing Clerk, Legal Assistant, or in a similar administrative role within a law firm.
  • Strong understanding of conveyancing processes, property law, and legal documentation in Indonesia.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and legal management software.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently.
  • Superb attention to detail and accuracy in preparing and reviewing legal documents.
  • Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with Indonesian land registration systems and procedures is highly advantageous.
