Responsibility
- Prepare, proofread, and manage legal documents, including contracts, pleadings, and correspondence, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal standards.
- Coordinate and maintain lawyers’ calendars, including scheduling meetings, court dates, and client appointments.
- Handle confidential information with the utmost discretion and professionalism.
- Liaise with clients, courts, and external parties to facilitate smooth communication and document exchange.
- Organize and maintain physical and digital filing systems for easy retrieval of legal documents.
- Assist in the preparation of legal research materials and case files.
- Manage travel arrangements and expense reports for legal team members.
- Provide general administrative support, including answering phones, drafting emails, and managing office supplies.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Legal Secretary or in a similar administrative role within a law firm or legal department.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and legal document management systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; knowledge of Indonesian (Bahasa) is a plus.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize deadlines in a high-pressure environment.
- High level of discretion and integrity when handling sensitive and confidential information.
- Familiarity with legal terminology, procedures, and documentation standards.
- Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented setting.
- Bachelor’s degree in Legal Studies, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
