Responsibility
- Lead the preparation, negotiation, and administration of contracts for greenfield construction projects, ensuring compliance with legal and company standards.
- Conduct detailed cost estimations, budgeting, and financial forecasting to optimize project profitability and risk mitigation.
- Oversee procurement processes, including tender evaluations, supplier negotiations, and contract awards.
- Monitor and report on project financial performance, identifying variances and implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and project managers to align contractual terms with technical and operational requirements.
- Ensure timely and accurate payment certifications, claims management, and dispute resolution.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to facilitate smooth project execution.
- Provide expert advice on contractual risks and recommend strategies to minimize exposure.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field. Professional certification (e.g., RICS, AIQS) is a plus.
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in contract administration or quantity surveying, with a focus on greenfield or large-scale construction projects.
- Proven expertise in contract law, FIDIC standards, and construction regulations in Indonesia or Southeast Asia.
- Strong proficiency in cost estimation software (e.g., Candy, Primavera), MS Excel, and ERP systems.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to analyze complex financial data and present actionable insights to senior management.
- Familiarity with sustainable construction practices and LEED/Green Building certifications is advantageous.
- Willingness to relocate to Bali and work in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
