Responsibility
- Lead commercial cost management and computations for Construction, Mechanical, and Electrical (CME) projects.
- Independently verify and challenge operational costs, ensuring accuracy in quantities and valuations.
- Develop and maintain cost control systems, budgets, and financial forecasts for projects.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to align financial and operational goals.
- Prepare and review tender documents, contracts, and procurement strategies.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to optimize project profitability.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, industry standards, and company policies.
- Mentor and guide junior quantity surveyors, fostering a culture of precision and accountability.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in quantity surveying, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Proven expertise in CME cost management, tendering, and contract administration.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in cost estimation software and MS Office.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills for stakeholder management.
- Familiarity with Indonesian construction regulations and market trends.
- Certification in Quantity Surveying (e.g., RICS, AIQS) is a plus.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
