Responsibility
- Prepare and analyze cost estimates, budgets, and tender documents for construction projects.
- Conduct material and labor cost assessments to ensure project profitability.
- Monitor and control project expenditures, including variations and change orders.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to optimize resource allocation.
- Perform risk assessments and value engineering to enhance cost efficiency.
- Prepare monthly cost reports and financial forecasts for stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, local regulations, and industry standards.
- Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to secure competitive pricing.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in quantity surveying, preferably in residential, commercial, or hospitality projects.
- Proficiency in cost estimation software (e.g., Candy, WinQS, or similar).
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts, BOQ (Bill of Quantities), and tendering processes.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with Indonesian construction regulations is a plus.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Bahasa Indonesia is advantageous.
