Responsibility
- Develop, implement, and monitor comprehensive site safety plans in compliance with local and international regulations (e.g., OSHA, ISO 45001).
- Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify hazards and recommend corrective actions.
- Lead toolbox talks, safety training, and emergency drills for all on-site personnel.
- Ensure adherence to environmental management systems (e.g., ISO 14001) and waste disposal protocols.
- Investigate and document near-misses, incidents, and accidents, proposing preventive measures.
- Coordinate with project managers to integrate safety and environmental best practices into daily operations.
- Maintain up-to-date records of safety certifications, permits, and compliance reports.
- Liaise with local authorities, clients, and subcontractors on safety and environmental matters.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in construction safety or environmental management, preferably on large-scale projects.
- Certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or OSHA 30/40 are highly advantageous.
- In-depth knowledge of Indonesian safety regulations (e.g., K3) and international standards.
- Strong communication and leadership skills to enforce safety policies across multicultural teams.
- Proficiency in risk assessment tools, incident reporting software, and MS Office.
- Ability to work in outdoor, high-risk environments with physical demands.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Bahasa Indonesia or Mandarin is a plus.
