Responsibility
- Develop, implement, and maintain contamination control and ESD protocols for semiconductor manufacturing processes to ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., ISO 14644, ANSI/ESD S20.20).
- Conduct regular audits and inspections of cleanroom environments, equipment, and personnel to identify and mitigate contamination risks.
- Collaborate with process engineering, facilities, and production teams to troubleshoot contamination-related issues and optimize yield performance.
- Design and execute experiments to analyze particle generation, electrostatic discharge, and other contamination sources, proposing data-driven solutions.
- Lead root cause analysis (RCA) for contamination or ESD-related defects, implementing corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Train and mentor production staff and engineers on contamination control best practices, ESD handling procedures, and safety protocols.
- Stay updated on emerging trends in contamination control, ESD technologies, and semiconductor industry regulations to drive continuous improvement.
- Prepare technical reports, documentation, and presentations for internal stakeholders and regulatory bodies.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs or Masterâs degree in Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in contamination control, ESD engineering, or cleanroom operations within the semiconductor or high-tech manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of cleanroom standards (ISO 14644), ESD control (ANSI/ESD S20.20), and semiconductor fabrication processes.
- Hands-on experience with contamination monitoring tools (e.g., particle counters, surface analyzers) and ESD measurement equipment.
- Proficiency in root cause analysis (RCA), statistical process control (SPC), and problem-solving methodologies (e.g., 8D, Six Sigma).
- Excellent analytical, communication, and project management skills, with the ability to work independently in a remote setting.
- Certifications such as Certified ESD Control Program Manager (CECPM) or Certified Cleanroom Professional (CCP) are a plus.
- Fluency in English; additional languages are advantageous.
