Responsibility
- Lead and supervise civil and commercial construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and safety standards.
- Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and risk management strategies to mitigate delays and cost overruns.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and government authorities to secure permits and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Conduct site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and adherence to design specifications and building codes.
- Manage procurement, material sourcing, and vendor negotiations to optimize costs without compromising quality.
- Prepare and present progress reports, financial forecasts, and stakeholder updates to senior management and clients.
- Enforce safety protocols and ensure all on-site activities comply with local and international construction safety standards.
- Resolve technical challenges and conflicts proactively to maintain project momentum and team morale.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in construction management, with a proven track record in civil or commercial building projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, building codes, and industry best practices in Indonesia.
- Experience working with A1 main contractors or large-scale developers, preferably in Southeast Asia.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Primavera, MS Project) and BIM tools.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills to manage diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Familiarity with sustainable construction practices and green building certifications (e.g., LEED) is advantageous.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Bahasa Indonesia is a significant plus.
