Responsibility
- Lead the end-to-end group consolidation process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial statements in compliance with IFRS and local GAAP.
- Prepare and analyze consolidated financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements for senior management and stakeholders.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and scalability of financial reporting.
- Develop and maintain automated financial models and tools to reduce manual efforts and improve data integrity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather, validate, and consolidate financial data from multiple subsidiaries.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, audit requirements, and regulatory standards across all consolidated entities.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making and business growth.
- Mentor and train junior team members on consolidation methodologies, best practices, and financial systems.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CA) is a strong plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in consolidation accounting, preferably in a multinational or group reporting environment.
- In-depth knowledge of IFRS, GAAP, and consolidation principles (e.g., intercompany eliminations, minority interests, foreign currency translations).
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Hyperion) and financial reporting tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Tableau).
- Proven track record of process automation and innovation in financial reporting (e.g., VBA, Python, or RPA tools).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to present complex financial data clearly.
- Experience working in diverse, international teams and managing tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in English; additional languages (e.g., Indonesian, Mandarin) are advantageous.
