Responsibility
- Develop, implement, and maintain a robust compliance framework aligned with local and international regulatory requirements (e.g., OJK, BI, FATF, AML/CFT).
- Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and gap analyses to identify compliance vulnerabilities and recommend corrective actions.
- Lead internal audits and compliance reviews, ensuring adherence to policies, laws, and industry best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Legal, Risk, Finance) to integrate compliance into business processes and decision-making.
- Design and deliver compliance training programs for employees at all levels to promote awareness and accountability.
- Monitor regulatory changes and update internal policies, procedures, and controls to ensure ongoing compliance.
- Serve as the primary liaison with regulatory authorities, external auditors, and industry bodies on compliance-related matters.
- Prepare and present compliance reports to senior management and stakeholders, highlighting key risks, trends, and mitigation strategies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., CAMS, CFA, FRM, CIA) is a plus.
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in compliance, risk management, or regulatory affairs within the banking or financial services sector.
- In-depth knowledge of Indonesian financial regulations (OJK, BI) and international standards (e.g., Basel III, AML/CFT, GDPR).
- Proven track record of developing and implementing compliance programs in a multinational or regional context.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with fluency in English (written and verbal).
- Experience with compliance software tools (e.g., MetricStream, Thomson Reuters, SAS AML) is highly desirable.
