Responsibility
- Lead comprehensive financial analysis and modeling for operating units, including revenue forecasting, cost optimization, and profitability assessments.
- Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic decision-making, investment evaluations, and business case analyses.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., operations, sales, and executive leadership) to align financial strategies with business objectives.
- Prepare and present financial reports, dashboards, and insights to senior management, highlighting key trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Conduct market and competitor analysis to identify growth opportunities and mitigate financial risks.
- Drive process improvements in financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations, accounting standards, and internal policies.
- Mentor junior finance team members and provide guidance on best practices in financial analysis and reporting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial finance, financial planning & analysis (FP&A), or corporate finance, preferably in the energy, utilities, or infrastructure sectors.
- Proven expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, and data analysis using tools like Excel, Power BI, or SQL.
- Strong understanding of financial statements, valuation techniques, and KPIs.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights for non-finance stakeholders.
- Experience working in multinational or fast-paced environments with a focus on strategic decision-making.
- Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and financial software.
- Highly analytical, detail-oriented, and able to work under tight deadlines.
