Responsibility
- Develop and optimize CNC programs for milling and turning operations using Mastercam software
- Interpret complex engineering drawings and 3D models to create precise machining instructions
- Set up and operate CNC machines, ensuring optimal performance and quality output
- Conduct first-article inspections and quality checks to verify program accuracy
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve manufacturing processes
- Troubleshoot machining issues and implement corrective actions
- Maintain detailed documentation of programs, setups, and process improvements
- Train junior programmers and machine operators on best practices
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and quality standards
Qualifications
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a CNC Programmer with expertise in milling and turning operations
- Proficient in Mastercam (minimum 2 years of hands-on experience)
- Strong understanding of G-code and CNC machine operation
- Experience with CAD/CAM software and 3D modeling
- Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings and GD&T
- Knowledge of materials science and machining properties of various metals
- Familiarity with quality control processes and inspection tools (CMM, calipers, micrometers)
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
