Responsibility
- Lead the setup and commissioning of a new manufacturing plant, ensuring compliance with industry standards and local regulations.
- Develop and implement production strategies to optimize efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
- Oversee procurement, installation, and calibration of machinery and equipment for automotive/electronics manufacturing.
- Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing production team, fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, logistics, quality assurance) to streamline workflows and meet production targets.
- Monitor KPIs, analyze performance data, and implement corrective actions to enhance productivity.
- Ensure adherence to EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) protocols and sustainability initiatives.
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for materials, services, and equipment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field; Master’s preferred.
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in manufacturing management, with at least 3 years in automotive or electronics.
- Proven track record in plant setup, process optimization, and lean manufacturing.
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing teams of 50+ employees.
- Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and production planning tools.
- Knowledge of ISO/TS 16949, IATF 16949, or similar quality standards.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and familiarity with Six Sigma or Kaizen methodologies.
- Willingness to relocate to Bali; prior experience in Southeast Asia is a plus.
