Responsibility
- Design, implement, and maintain security controls for cloud environments (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Conduct regular security assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration testing to identify and mitigate risks.
- Develop and enforce cloud security policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Collaborate with DevOps and engineering teams to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines.
- Monitor cloud environments for security incidents and respond to threats in real-time.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards (ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, etc.) and regulatory requirements.
- Provide guidance and training to teams on cloud security best practices.
- Stay updated on emerging threats and advancements in cloud security technologies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in cloud security, with expertise in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, AWS Certified Security – Specialty, or equivalent.
- Strong knowledge of security frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, CIS Controls).
- Experience with security tools (SIEM, IDS/IPS, vulnerability scanners, etc.).
- Proficiency in scripting (Python, Bash) and automation for security tasks.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills to articulate security risks and solutions to stakeholders.
