Responsibility
- Monitor, maintain, and optimize L2/L3 cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP) to ensure 99.9% uptime and performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across cloud services, networks, and applications during night shifts.
- Automate repetitive tasks using scripts (Python, Bash) and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Ansible).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy, scale, and secure cloud-based applications.
- Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for incidents and implement preventive measures.
- Manage containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines for seamless deployments.
- Ensure compliance with security best practices (IAM, encryption, vulnerability management).
- Document processes, runbooks, and post-mortem reports for continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of experience in cloud operations, DevOps, or SRE roles with L2/L3 support expertise.
- Proficiency in public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and their core services (EC2, S3, Lambda, AKS, etc.).
- Strong scripting and automation skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
- Experience with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Nagios) and logging systems (ELK, Splunk).
- Hands-on knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and orchestration tools.
- Familiarity with ITIL, incident management, and on-call procedures for 24/7 operations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a remote night-shift environment.
