Responsibility
- Design, deploy, and manage scalable and secure cloud infrastructure on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud platforms.
- Conduct cloud assessments to identify business requirements and recommend optimal cloud solutions.
- Develop and implement cloud strategies, including migration, provisioning, and automation of cloud resources.
- Monitor cloud environments for performance, security, and cost-efficiency, implementing optimizations as needed.
- Configure and maintain cloud networking, storage, and compute resources to ensure high availability and reliability.
- Collaborate with DevOps and security teams to enforce compliance, governance, and disaster recovery policies.
- Troubleshoot and resolve cloud-related issues, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal user experience.
- Document cloud architectures, processes, and best practices for knowledge sharing and team collaboration.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering, with a focus on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud platforms.
- Proven expertise in cloud provisioning, configuration, monitoring, and optimization.
- Strong knowledge of cloud security, networking, and compliance standards (e.g., ISO 27001, GDPR).
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and automation tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect, or Google Professional Cloud Architect are a plus.
