Responsibility
- Cloud Strategy & Design: Develop and execute a comprehensive cloud architecture roadmap, ensuring alignment with business goals and Azure best practices.
- Hybrid Infrastructure Leadership: Architect and manage seamless integration between on-premises data centers and Azure cloud environments.
- Migration & Modernization: Lead large-scale cloud migration projects, including lift-and-shift, re-platforming, and refactoring of legacy applications.
- Security & Compliance: Implement robust security frameworks (e.g., Zero Trust, Azure Sentinel) and ensure compliance with industry standards (ISO 27001, SOC 2).
- Cost Optimization: Monitor and optimize cloud spend using Azure Cost Management and FinOps principles to maximize ROI.
- Automation & DevOps: Drive CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM templates), and automation (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions).
- Performance & Scalability: Design highly available, fault-tolerant systems with auto-scaling and disaster recovery plans.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with C-level executives, engineering teams, and vendors to translate technical requirements into actionable solutions.
Qualifications
- Proven Experience: 7+ years in cloud architecture, with at least 3 years specializing in Microsoft Azure (Azure Solutions Architect Expert certification preferred).
- Technical Mastery: Deep expertise in Azure services (Compute, Networking, Storage, Identity, Security) and hybrid connectivity (ExpressRoute, VPN Gateway).
- Scripting & Automation: Proficiency in PowerShell, CLI, Python, or Bash for automation, and experience with IaC tools (Terraform, Bicep).
- Security Mindset: Hands-on experience with Azure Security Center, Key Vault, and identity management (Azure AD, RBAC).
- Migration Tools: Familiarity with Azure Migrate, Data Box, and third-party tools (e.g., CloudEndure).
- Soft Skills: Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and leadership abilities to mentor teams and influence stakeholders.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- Industry Knowledge: Awareness of emerging trends in cloud computing, multi-cloud strategies, and serverless architectures.
