Responsibility
- Develop and review civil and structural designs, ensuring compliance with local and international building codes, standards, and safety regulations.
- Conduct site investigations and feasibility studies to assess project viability and recommend optimal construction methods.
- Prepare and present technical drawings, specifications, and reports for stakeholders, including clients, architects, and contractors.
- Oversee construction activities to ensure adherence to design plans, quality standards, and project timelines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (architects, MEP engineers, project managers) to integrate structural solutions seamlessly into overall project designs.
- Perform structural analysis using software (e.g., ETABS, SAP2000, AutoCAD) to optimize material usage and structural integrity.
- Monitor budget and resource allocation for civil/structural components, identifying cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
- Provide technical guidance to on-site teams and resolve any structural or civil engineering challenges that arise during construction.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in civil and structural engineering, with a focus on building projects (commercial/residential).
- Professional certification (e.g., PE, Chartered Engineer) or membership in a recognized engineering body (e.g., IES, ICE).
- Proficiency in structural design software (ETABS, SAP2000, Revit, AutoCAD) and BIM tools.
- Strong knowledge of Indonesian building codes (SNIs) and international standards (e.g., ACI, Eurocode).
- Excellent project management and communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients and teams.
- Experience working with A1 Main Contractors or large-scale construction firms is highly desirable.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Bahasa Indonesia is an advantage.
