Responsibility
- Design and analyze structural systems for residential, commercial, and infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with local and international standards (e.g., SNI, ACI, Eurocodes).
- Prepare detailed structural drawings, calculations, and specifications using industry-leading software (e.g., ETABS, SAP2000, AutoCAD, Revit).
- Conduct site inspections and structural assessments to evaluate existing conditions and recommend reinforcement or retrofitting solutions.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and project managers to ensure seamless integration of structural designs with architectural and MEP plans.
- Review and approve shop drawings, material submittals, and construction methodologies to ensure structural integrity and safety.
- Perform risk assessments and provide innovative solutions to complex structural challenges, including seismic and wind load considerations.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance to ensure high-quality deliverables and adherence to project timelines.
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and sustainable design practices to drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering from an accredited institution; a Masterâs degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in structural engineering, with a focus on building and infrastructure projects.
- Proficiency in structural analysis and design software (e.g., ETABS, SAP2000, STAAD.Pro, AutoCAD, Revit).
- Strong knowledge of Indonesian building codes (SNI) and international standards (e.g., ACI, Eurocodes, ASCE).
- Experience with BIM (Building Information Modeling) and 3D modeling tools is highly desirable.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in fast-paced environments.
- Strong communication skills in English; proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia is an advantage.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification is a plus.
