Responsibility
- Lead the design and analysis of civil and structural systems for a variety of projects, ensuring compliance with local and international building codes.
- Develop detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and reports using industry-standard software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, ETABS).
- Conduct site investigations and feasibility studies to assess project viability and identify potential challenges.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and stakeholders to integrate structural solutions that balance aesthetics, functionality, and cost.
- Oversee construction phases to ensure adherence to design specifications, safety protocols, and quality standards.
- Perform structural calculations and simulations to optimize material usage and enhance durability in tropical conditions.
- Prepare and present technical proposals, progress reports, and risk assessments to clients and senior management.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance to foster team growth and innovation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in structural design and project management, preferably in Southeast Asia or similar climates.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification is highly advantageous.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, STAAD.Pro, ETABS, or other structural analysis software.
- Strong knowledge of concrete, steel, and timber design, as well as seismic and wind load calculations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in English (written and verbal); knowledge of Bahasa Indonesia is a plus.
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget.
