Responsibility
- Interpret and analyze client requirements, technical specifications, and architectural drawings to develop precise structural designs.
- Conduct feasibility studies, site investigations, and risk assessments to ensure project viability and compliance with local and international standards.
- Design and model structural systems (e.g., foundations, beams, columns) using industry-leading software such as AutoCAD, Revit, ETABS, or SAP2000.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and project managers to integrate structural solutions seamlessly into overall project plans.
- Prepare detailed engineering drawings, calculations, and technical reports for approval and construction phases.
- Research and implement innovative materials, construction methods, and sustainable practices to enhance project efficiency and durability.
- Ensure all designs adhere to Indonesian National Standards (SNI), ACI, AISC, and Eurocodes as applicable.
- Provide on-site support during construction to resolve technical issues and verify compliance with design specifications.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in structural design, with a proven track record in residential, commercial, or industrial projects.
- Proficiency in structural analysis and design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, ETABS, STAAD.Pro).
- Strong knowledge of concrete, steel, and timber design, as well as seismic and wind load considerations.
- Familiarity with BIM (Building Information Modeling) and 3D modeling tools is highly desirable.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills to liaise with stakeholders at all levels.
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) or equivalent certification is preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, multicultural environment and adapt to evolving project demands.
