Responsibility
- Review and validate civil/structural design drawings, calculations, and specifications for solar projects to ensure compliance with local and international standards (e.g., SNI, ASCE, IBC).
- Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies to evaluate terrain, soil conditions, and environmental factors affecting project viability.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (electrical, mechanical, environmental engineers) to integrate civil design requirements into overall project plans.
- Identify potential design flaws, risks, or cost-saving opportunities and propose innovative, practical solutions.
- Prepare and present technical reports, risk assessments, and design recommendations to stakeholders and clients.
- Ensure all designs adhere to health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations and best practices.
- Monitor project progress, track design changes, and maintain accurate documentation for audits and future reference.
- Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers and design teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in civil engineering, with at least 3 years specializing in design review for solar or renewable energy projects.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification is highly preferred.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, ETABS, STAAD.Pro, or similar design software.
- Strong knowledge of geotechnical engineering, foundation design, and structural analysis for large-scale infrastructure.
- Familiarity with Indonesian building codes (SNI) and international standards (e.g., Eurocode, ACI).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills in English.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
