Responsibility

  • Design, develop, and optimize bulk gas and specialty gas distribution systems for semiconductor, electronics, and biopharma applications.
  • Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and safety analyses for gas system installations, ensuring compliance with international standards (e.g., NFPA, ISO, SEMI).
  • Collaborate with process engineers, facility managers, and clients to define technical requirements and system specifications.
  • Oversee the procurement, installation, and commissioning of gas handling equipment, including pipelines, valves, regulators, and monitoring systems.
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to ensure system reliability and longevity.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to gas purity, pressure control, and leakage prevention.
  • Prepare detailed engineering drawings, P&IDs, and technical documentation using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks).
  • Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends in gas delivery systems for high-purity applications.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field; advanced degrees or certifications in gas systems are a plus.
  • Minimum 7+ years of experience in designing and engineering gas distribution systems for semiconductor, electronics, or biopharma industries.
  • Proven expertise in high-purity gas handling, pressure regulation, and contamination control.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and simulation tools (e.g., COMSOL, ANSYS).
  • Strong knowledge of international safety and quality standards (NFPA 55, ISO 14644, SEMI S2/S8, ASME B31.3).
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and meet tight deadlines.
  • Familiarity with cleanroom environments, vacuum systems, and cryogenic applications is highly desirable.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills in English; knowledge of Indonesian is a bonus.
