Responsibility
- Design and analyze structural systems for buildings, bridges, and infrastructure projects using industry-standard software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, ETABS, SAP2000).
- Prepare and review detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and reports to ensure compliance with local and international codes (e.g., SNI, ACI, Eurocode).
- Conduct site investigations and feasibility studies to assess project requirements and constraints.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and project managers to integrate structural solutions into overall project designs.
- Perform load calculations, stress analysis, and material selection to optimize structural performance and cost-efficiency.
- Monitor project progress, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Provide technical guidance and supervision to junior engineers and on-site teams.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies, materials, and best practices in civil and structural engineering.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in structural design and analysis for buildings or infrastructure projects.
- Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit) and structural analysis tools (ETABS, SAP2000, STAAD.Pro).
- Strong knowledge of local and international building codes (e.g., SNI, ACI, Eurocode).
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Experience with project management and coordination in a multidisciplinary team.
- Familiarity with BIM (Building Information Modeling) is highly desirable.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification is a plus.
