Responsibility
- Monitor and control chemical/biotech production processes to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Perform routine maintenance and calibration of process equipment to optimize performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in production lines to minimize downtime.
- Collect and analyze process data to identify trends and recommend improvements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process enhancements and cost-saving initiatives.
- Ensure adherence to environmental, health, and safety (EHS) regulations in all operations.
- Prepare and maintain accurate documentation, including batch records and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Assist in the training and onboarding of new team members on process protocols and best practices.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Biotechnology, or a related field.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a chemical or biotech manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of process control systems, GMP, and ISO standards.
- Hands-on experience with DCS, PLC, or SCADA systems is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in shift-based or rotating schedules as required.
- Proficient in English (written and verbal) with strong communication skills.
- Familiarity with safety protocols, HAZOP studies, and risk assessments.
