Responsibility
- Design, develop, and test PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) programs for industrial automation systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate automation solutions into manufacturing processes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware/software issues in automated systems to minimize downtime.
- Assist in the installation, calibration, and maintenance of sensors, actuators, and HMI interfaces.
- Document technical specifications, schematics, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for automation projects.
- Support the continuous improvement of existing systems by analyzing performance data and proposing optimizations.
- Stay updated on emerging automation technologies (e.g., Industry 4.0, IIoT) and recommend innovative solutions.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and industry standards (e.g., ISO, IEC) in all automation deployments.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation, or a related field.
- 0–2 years of experience in PLC programming (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, or Mitsubishi preferred).
- Basic knowledge of SCADA systems, HMI development, or industrial networking (e.g., Profibus, Modbus).
- Familiarity with ladder logic (LAD), structured text (ST), or function block diagrams (FBD).
- Hands-on experience with automation tools (e.g., TIA Portal, Studio 5000, CODESYS) is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a detail-oriented approach.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills in a multicultural environment.
