As a certified Licensed Electrical Worker (LEW) Grade 7, you will perform preventive maintenance, diagnostic troubleshooting, and firmware updates on a variety of EV charging stations. Your expertise will directly contribute to reducing downtime, enhancing user experience, and supporting the region’s transition to sustainable transportation.
This role is ideal for detail-oriented professionals with a passion for renewable energy and electrical systems. With a competitive salary range of $4,300 – $5,000 per month, this full-time position offers stability, growth, and the chance to work in dynamic urban and resort environments like Canggu, Ubud, Denpasar, Jimbaran, Nusa Dua, and Kuta.
Responsibility
- Conduct preventive maintenance on EV charging stations to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
- Perform fault diagnosis and repair on electrical components, circuit breakers, and charging units in compliance with LEW Grade 7 standards.
- Execute firmware updates and software configurations to enhance charger functionality and security.
- Inspect and test electrical systems, including wiring, connectors, and grounding, to meet Singapore/Bali electrical safety regulations.
- Document all maintenance activities, faults, and resolutions in a digital maintenance log for audit and reporting purposes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot complex issues and implement corrective actions.
- Provide on-site technical support during emergency breakdowns to minimize downtime.
- Stay updated on EV technology advancements and industry best practices through continuous training.
Qualifications
- Licensed Electrical Worker (LEW) Grade 7 certification (mandatory).
- Minimum 3 years of experience in electrical maintenance, preferably in EV charging systems or industrial electrical work.
- Proficiency in reading electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
- Strong knowledge of AC/DC power systems, three-phase circuits, and high-voltage safety protocols.
- Hands-on experience with diagnostic tools (e.g., multimeters, oscilloscopes, insulation testers).
- Ability to work independently or in a team in fast-paced, outdoor environments.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills in English.
- Willingness to travel to multiple sites across Bali and Singapore as required.
