Responsibility
- Manage and maintain an accurate inventory of semiconductor parts and components, ensuring real-time tracking and availability.
- Coordinate with procurement teams to forecast parts demand, place orders, and negotiate with suppliers to optimize costs.
- Implement and improve inventory management systems to enhance efficiency and reduce downtime in production.
- Conduct regular audits of parts stock, identify discrepancies, and resolve issues promptly to maintain operational continuity.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure the timely availability of critical parts for maintenance and manufacturing.
- Develop and maintain documentation for parts specifications, usage guidelines, and storage procedures.
- Analyze parts usage data to identify trends, reduce waste, and recommend process improvements.
- Train and mentor junior technicians on parts management best practices and safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in parts management, inventory control, or a similar role, preferably in the semiconductor, electronics, or manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of inventory management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or ERP systems).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) and data analysis tools.
