Responsibility
- Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of high-voltage electrical systems in compliance with local and international standards.
- Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and emergency repairs on electrical equipment, switchgears, and control panels.
- Monitor electrical load distribution and ensure optimal performance of transformers, motors, and distribution boards.
- Troubleshoot electrical faults, diagnose root causes, and implement corrective actions to restore system functionality.
- Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols, including lockout-tagout (LOTO) procedures and PPE compliance.
- Maintain accurate logs of electrical system performance, maintenance activities, and incident reports.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to plan and execute electrical upgrades or expansions.
- Train and supervise junior technicians on electrical safety practices and operational procedures.
Qualifications
- Valid Chargeman License (A4/A3 or equivalent) recognized by Indonesian authorities (or transferable certification).
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Chargeman or Senior Electrician in industrial, chemical, or manufacturing settings.
- In-depth knowledge of high-voltage systems (up to 33kV), switchgear, and protective relays.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, single-line diagrams, and technical manuals.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure during system failures or emergencies.
- Familiarity with PLC systems, SCADA, or industrial automation is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills in English; knowledge of Bahasa Indonesia is advantageous.
- Commitment to continuous learning and staying updated with electrical codes (e.g., PUIL, IEC, or NFPA 70E).
