Responsibility
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of civil infrastructure projects, including roads, bridges, and public facilities.
- Conduct site investigations, feasibility studies, and risk assessments to ensure project viability.
- Prepare and review technical drawings, specifications, and cost estimates using industry-standard software.
- Coordinate with government agencies, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure compliance with permits and regulations.
- Monitor project progress, budgets, and timelines, providing regular reports to senior management.
- Implement sustainable and resilient engineering solutions to address environmental and community needs.
- Mentor junior engineers and technical staff, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
- Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and ethical standards in all project phases.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering; Master’s degree or professional licensure (e.g., PCE) is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in civil engineering, with a focus on infrastructure or public works projects.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, and other engineering software.
- Strong knowledge of Philippine construction codes, DILG guidelines, and international standards (e.g., ACI, AISC).
- Excellent project management skills, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Demonstrated ability to liaise with government entities, such as the DPWH or Civil Service Commission.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Willingness to relocate to the Bicol Region or commute as required.
