Responsibility
- Lead the design and analysis of civil and structural systems for residential, commercial, and infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with local and international codes (e.g., SNI, ACI, Eurocode).
- Prepare and review technical drawings, specifications, and cost estimates using industry-standard software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, ETABS, SAP2000).
- Conduct site investigations and feasibility studies to assess project viability, soil conditions, and environmental impact.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and government agencies to ensure seamless project execution from concept to completion.
- Oversee construction activities, including quality control, safety compliance, and adherence to timelines and budgets.
- Develop innovative, sustainable solutions to address challenges in tropical climates, such as flood mitigation and seismic resilience.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance to ensure project deliverables meet high standards of precision and durability.
- Prepare and present progress reports, risk assessments, and recommendations to stakeholders and clients.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in civil/structural engineering, with a proven track record in project management and design.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification (e.g., Chartered Engineer) is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in engineering software such as AutoCAD, Revit, ETABS, SAP2000, or STAAD.Pro.
- Strong knowledge of Indonesian building codes (SNI) and international standards (e.g., ACI, Eurocode, BS).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills in English (written and verbal).
- Experience working on projects in tropical or seismic zones is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
