Responsibility
- Lead the development and optimization of paint and coating formulations to meet performance, durability, and aesthetic requirements.
- Conduct rigorous testing and analysis of raw materials and finished products to ensure compliance with industry standards and customer specifications.
- Collaborate with the Operations and Sales teams to address technical inquiries and provide solutions tailored to market needs.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, cost-efficiency, and sustainability.
- Maintain accurate documentation of formulations, test results, and regulatory compliance records.
- Stay abreast of emerging trends, technologies, and regulations in the paint and coatings industry.
- Provide technical guidance and training to junior team members and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Participate in customer visits and technical presentations to showcase product capabilities and gather feedback.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in paint and coatings formulation, testing, and development.
- Strong knowledge of raw materials, additives, and their interactions in coating systems.
- Proficiency in laboratory techniques, analytical instruments, and quality control methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot formulation and application issues.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience with regulatory compliance and safety standards in the chemical industry.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
