Responsibility
- Oversee and maintain bioengineering laboratory equipment, ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards.
- Assist in the design, execution, and documentation of bioengineering experiments and research projects.
- Collaborate with academic and research teams to develop and implement teaching laboratory modules.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret experimental data, providing actionable insights for research and educational purposes.
- Prepare and present technical reports, summaries, and presentations for stakeholders and funding bodies.
- Train and supervise junior staff, students, and interns on laboratory protocols and best practices.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in bioengineering and integrate innovative techniques into laboratory operations.
- Ensure adherence to ethical guidelines, biosafety protocols, and regulatory requirements in all research activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Bioengineering, Biomedical Engineering, Biotechnology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a laboratory or research setting, preferably in bioengineering or a related discipline.
- Strong knowledge of laboratory techniques, equipment, and data analysis tools (e.g., PCR, cell culture, microscopy, ELISA).
- Proven ability to design and conduct experiments, as well as interpret and document results accurately.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
- Familiarity with regulatory and ethical standards in bioengineering research (e.g., GLP, GMP, biosafety guidelines).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, LabVIEW, MATLAB, or other relevant software.
- High attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a proactive approach to laboratory management.
