Responsibility
- Conduct independent and collaborative research on the optical and photophysical properties of emerging optoelectronic materials.
- Design and execute experimental protocols for material synthesis, characterization, and device fabrication.
- Utilize advanced techniques such as UV-Vis spectroscopy, photoluminescence, time-resolved spectroscopy, and ellipsometry.
- Analyze and interpret complex data sets to derive actionable insights for material optimization.
- Publish high-impact research findings in peer-reviewed journals and present at international conferences.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including chemists, physicists, and engineers, to drive innovation.
- Mentor junior researchers and students, fostering a culture of scientific excellence.
- Stay abreast of emerging trends in optoelectronics and propose novel research directions.
Qualifications
- PhD in Materials Science, Physics, Chemistry, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven expertise in optical characterization techniques (e.g., spectroscopy, microscopy, or ellipsometry).
- Strong background in optoelectronic materials (e.g., perovskites, organic semiconductors, or quantum dots).
- Experience with device fabrication and testing (e.g., solar cells, LEDs, or photodetectors).
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Python, MATLAB, or Origin) and scientific writing.
- Demonstrated ability to lead research projects and work in a collaborative environment.
- Excellent communication skills in English, with a track record of publications in high-impact journals.
- Willingness to relocate to Bali, Indonesia or work in a hybrid/remote setup as required.
